My goal for this year was to make some quilts using solids only. We are well and truly into the second half of the year and I haven't got there yet. Time has not been on my side at all. At AQC in April/May I picked up the book City Quilts by
Cherri House. The book has 12 patterns for quilts "inspired by Urban Views". My goal to make my own quilt from solids may not have come to fruition but the pages of my book are well thumbed. Cherri provides some great information about designing your own quilt from solids and shares her inspiration for her own. If you've ever wondered what to do with solids head over to
her blog or take a look at her book. I have found it inspiring. Now just to find the time for some sewing...
